Design & Controversy
Parsons School of Design, 2004
I designed this poster for a panel discussion at Parsons concerning activism: what it is, how it’s perceived, and how design can play a part. Some see activism as a vital method of enacting social change; others see it as an in-your-face annoyance. This dichotomy led to the image of a hand giving a peace sign, which was then die-cut and folded to create the classic one-fingered insult.
