Democracy & Education
Lewis & Clark College, 2006–
Democracy & Education is a journal currenly published by Lewis & Clark College. It was recently inherited from another university, with a dated and unfocused design. I was hired to redesign the publication for its launch at its new home. I kept the design clean and classic, with an eye towards utility that is needed with scholarly texts and their charts, graphs, and footnotes. I gave each issue a unique spot ink on its cover and when the spines align on a book shelf, a signature striping occurs.
