This book—part field guide and part coffee table book—features beautiful photos of hundreds of butterfly and moth species by renowned natural history photographer Kjell Sandved. The design of the interior takes a cue from the somewhat erratic, swooping flight patterns of the subject; the short descriptors at the bottom of the page miter into each other, so that the reader’s eye takes on this swooping manner. Accent colors on the text page are picked up from the photos they accompany. As a result each spread is unique, much like the butterflies they feature.
